This is something i did to make a few hundred bucks. So sue me. Actually don’t, I can’t afford it yet.

Pacific Northwest 'Zach and Avery' Screenings

Feature length comedy directed by Sean Devlin is being screened in Portland, Seattle and Vancouver. See it. It was my first movie. Other cast includes other awesome people like Shane Koyzcan (Canadian poet laureate), Graham Clark, and Zach Galifianakis. It won ‘Best Comedy/Drama’ at the ‘Black Earth Film Festival’ in Illinois and was an offical selection at the ‘Paris/Berlin Recontres Internationale’. Here is the trailer:

Only Magazine Article

One of my favourite vancouver weekly’s, Only Magazine, who chickened out and went online ‘only’(heheh)(gunshot), published a post about me called ‘college was okay’. This is what they said:

Vancouver comedian Aubrey Tennent sent us a video he made a couple weeks ago that he claimed was made just for our website but we’ve found it on both YouTube and Myspace. It’s probably elsewhere too but we don’t care enough to look. Despite being a huge fucking liar, the video was hilarious so we had to post it.
-only magazine

I never said it was ‘just’ for them. And i definitely had them in mind when i made it. So who is the huge fucking liar now only magazine? I appreciate the publicity though. It gave my video 3 more views.

Scum and Villainy

This is really exciting. Melissa Teran, who helped bring you the whitest kids you know live show, asked me to host the new show as the whitest kids are off shooting the 2nd season of their tv show.

My Imaginary Friends

I have a lot of friends. I mean A LOT. The cool thing is that most of them are imaginary. This is a video that I made of some of the good times my imaginary friends and I have. Watch it.

Live Reading of 'Mr. Brownstone'

This is a live reading of one of the two plays written by the Virginia tech massacre’er. Too soon? That’s the point. We were really drunk.

Remember when i used to have content on this site.

Its all stupid live shows and no goods. Well goddamn it. Here are some goods.

I’ve realized something very important this new year (2007). I wanna dance. I love to dance. I had no idea before but now i’m positive. This is an audition tape for any rap groups or any other musicians that might need some sexy dancer men.

I got my own comedy show.

I’m so excited about our new show at the Cobalt. Paul Anthony is hosting it with me and the first show looks amazing. We got Mr.Plow, Graham himself, Dylan, Paul Anthony has something awesome, and also, for the first time ever, Sean Devlin, Kevin Lee, Taz Van Rassle, Ryan Beil are doing something together. Especially for you Melody Mangler is going to do a number. And Seth Perry to rock the mic. I’m trying to get a stand-up, some improv, sketch, and burlesque all in each show. Hope it works.

The director was stark raving mad at us.

Stark Raving RetardedBack in the Summer of 2001 when the america was still a virgin, Dylan Rhymer and I were extra’s in an excellent film by Drew Daywalt and David Schneider called Stark Raving Mad. The movie featured Seann William Scott and Lou Diamond Phillips just to name a couple of the big names. Local comedians, Damonde Tschritter and John Beuhler also had speaking roles.
Dylan and i tried really wanted to be in the movie too. Dylan was dancing a lot like a chicken cause at the time he had big hair and i just wanted to act with my hero Sean William Scott. Try and spot Dylan and I.

Scene from Stark Raving Mad – 3mb (quicktime)

The next day when we arrived on set, the first assistant director ran up to us and said “See that man standing behind the camera? That’s the director. Stay as far away from him as possible. He saw you on the footage they shot yesturday and he’s really really pissed off at you two. He said ‘you ruined his dream’. Actually, why don’t you go back to holding.”

I think any dream that involves Seann William Scott is a good dream still.
